The Adderbury, Deddington & District Photographic Society was formed in July 2006 by a group of people seeking a new kind of camera club, where the main focus was not on photographic competition.
To quote founder, Philip A. Rigby: “l had long looked for a camera club that wasn’t driven by one subject and one subject only – competitions. I just wanted a club that was interested in taking photographs for the sake of taking photographs.”
And today, the ethos of the Society continues to provide a forum for like-minded photographers to meet in a non-competitive environment, regardless of their technical ability or equipment.
All photographers are welcome, regardless of photographic skills or experience.
The Society is a member of The Chilterns Association of Camera Clubs.
