The Society will be holding it’s AGM at our meeting on Wednesday 2nd AGM. This will be followed by our traditional ‘What Is It Quiz’ Details of the AGM and the quiz will be published in our monthly newsletter.

Martyn Pearse
The Society held it’s AGM at our meeting on 5th April 2023. Martyn Pearse, our Chairman, retired from the Committee. Martyn has been a member of the societies committee for 10 years, as Membership secretary, Treasurer and Chairman. The committee and fellow members thank him for his devotion and commitment to the society over this time. We hope he continues to enjoy the society for many years to come.

The Society’s AGM will be held at our next meeting on April 5th 2023. This will be followed by our ‘What is it’ quiz.
Best 3 images of 2021
Each year, members are asked to submit their best, or favourite three images of the previous year. Traditionally, these form part of our first Society meeting of the year in January. However, this year, it was decided to make this the second half of our AGM meeting, which is our April meeting. These images are now online in the Gallery section of the website, under ‘Best of’

AGM news
Due to exceptional circumstances, AD&D Photographic Society held a ‘virtual’ AGM this year. Usually an annual event at our meeting in April, due to COVID-19 and lockdown currently in force, members received all necessary paperwork related to minutes, finances etc. after first being asked to approve a virtual format. Following the deadline of 10th April to return votes, all resolutions were passed. Changes to the committee are as follows: Martyn Pearse switches from Treasurer to Chairman, replacing the outgoing John Cavana, who had been a emergency appointment following the death of John Prentice in 2019.
