The Society is holding it’s second annual Photographic Exhibition on Saturday 26th October 2019. The venue is Deddington Parish Church, between 9am and 1pm, as part of the monthly Farmers market. Come along and browse, chat to members and have a cup of tea and a piece of cake. Admission is Free
On 28th September 2019, the Society held it’s annual exhibition of members pictures at the Adderbury institute. Each member was invited to submit up to five images. This year we had a special display of images from our late Chairman, John Prentice, who died suddenly earlier in the month. The Gallery can be found from the “Galleries>Exhibition Images” menu. Also online are our September/October Topic images: “Strange Signs”. This had been a fun topic with many candid images submitted. Next month we are challenged with “Shadows”

It was with much sadness that the Society learned of the passing of our Chairman, John Prentice, on 2 September 2019. In light of this, John Branton, one of John’s fellow founding members of the Society, has penned an Obituary, which can be found on our About > John Prentice Menu. We have also added a special Gallery of John’s Pictures in the Gallery section on the Website. John’s own choice of favourite images can also be found in the Members’ Gallery section. A Photo opportunity in Oxford, as many sites take part in ‘Oxford Open Doors’ over the weekend of 14/15th September 2019 A weekend when Oxford Preservation Trust in conjunction with Colleges, Industry and other Oxford buildings, communities and organisations open their doors to the general public .
