AD&D PS 15th Anniversary Photo Safari
As part of celebrating the Society’s 15th Anniversary, Miggy organised a Photo Safari which began in Adderbury and finished at Middle Aston House for a picnic. Owner and restorer Mark Walton kindly brought along his vintage VW Camper van for us to photograph whilst waiting for our start time. The route given to members took them through Kings Sutton where we ventured the back roads, Charlton, Newbottle, a small hamlet with interesting church, Hinton-in-the-Hedges where we saw Skydivers, Croughton, Souldern, a village that many of us had never been before, Somerton, the Heyfords with broad landscapes with rivers and canals canals and Steeple Aston with it’s folly before completing the course at Middle Aston House where the management kindly gave us permission to use their facilities. Photographing on our journey we had to find images to match topic titles, such as ‘As it was’ , ’Solitude’ and ’Transportation’ to name a few. We had the pleasure to view some at last week’s Club night at the Institute. Thank you to those who entered in the fun.
